My Dad is awesome!

So I have been mowning and growning again about needing to loose weight and really tiring to get Robert to commit to making an effort too. My Dad and his wife have been dieting most of the summer and he has lost 25 lbs already! So to motivate us, he offered me $100 for every 10lbs I lose and $100 for every 20lbs Robert looses towards a cruise!! Needless to say, I am hoping this is the motivation we both need! I have lost 5 lbs in the past month, but 4 lbs I lost before he made the offer so they don't count towards my first 10 lbs, but still a lost is a lose!

New Challenge

The whole reason I started this blog was to be an accountable place for me to track my weight loss. Weather anyone is actually reading or not, if I have to own up to what I have eaten and how much I have moved everyday I do better! That being said, its time I get back to it. Last time I lost 19 lbs in 10 weeks. A friend from school has challenge me and several others to lose 10 lbs in the next 30 days. I am not sure if I can do it, but I am going to try. I REALLY need to lose some serious weight! Maybe I will be able to get into a routine and stay with it this go around. So starting today I will be posting daily eats again.

2 down 28 to go....

pounds that is! So 2lbs isn't great, but it is a start and not bad for a week. I tried the maple cheese cake recipe out of the Biggest Loser 30-day jump start this weekend. They tasted pretty good, but I had trouble getting them out of the pan, which stresses me. I like for my food to look and taste good and they did not look very pretty, especially since I was serving them to others.

On a side note, my Mom took Christopher to see Toy Story 3 a few weeks ago and to put it lightly he did NOT like it. Apparently there is a mean bear in the movie and Christopher got very upset and they had to leave early. Well, not knowing what happened my friend Tiffany came over yesterday and was all excited about bringing the kids matching shirts, Christopher was very excited too until...he looked at the shirt and it is THE bear from Toy Story 3!! I busted out laughing and he then went on to tell her that he did not like that movie and that was a bad bear! HAHA, I am pretty sure he will wear the shirt with some prodding at least once to match Hailey but he is funny to me :) I will try to take a pic of the kids in their matching shirts in the next few days.

Happy Monday!

So, first things first, today was weigh day...I lost another 3.5 lbs!! I have to say I was very happy to find this this morning. I really thought I hadn't lost anything this week as I was great about my eating and I didn't excerise as much as I had hoped. It was a beautiful day today, but was also extremely wet from all the rain we got yesterday/last night. So unfortunately we did not get out and walk, because rather than being a nice relaxing walk I felt like it would be a stressful walk of Christopher jumping in every puddle we passes and it was a very bad night tonight so I didn't do a workout video after the kids were in bed. Just a quick cap of the night...Christopher locked me out of the house and Hailey had a blow out diaper during dinner that I didn't realize until I picked her up, which meant I had to give her another bath even though it was already 45 min past her bedtime.
Breakfast:
mini cinnamon rasin bagel w/ honey nut spread
water
Snack:
Oatmeal cranberry cookie
Lunch:
100 cal bag popcorn
1 slice amish bread
Snack:
3 mini muffins (made from the amish bread)
palm full of raspberry almond m&ms(these are most wonderful!!)
Dinner:
Grilled turkey burger, no cheese on a white bun, w/ K & M, pickle
chips and dip
*I made the burgers and they had 1 grated apple, 1 crated carrot, and 1 finely chopped onion, so I did get a little bit of veggie in :)
